Our client is currently looking for a Data Management & Architecture (DMA) Consultants (from Junior to Manager and Senior Manager), with a functional or a technical profile, seeking to bridge the gap between Business and IT in order to deliver value-added solutions to our clients.

Under Data Management & Architecture we understand the following main capabilities:
  • Data Governance
  • Data Structure/Modeling
  • Data Architecture
  • Master Data and Meta Data Management
  • Data Quality

Both in a data warehousing as in a transactional context

Within the current information based society, we see how our clients put more and more emphasis on good quality data, to turn data in useful information for the enterprise and all of its stakeholders (customers, shareholders).

Typical roles will involve working within a team to perform some or all of the following:

  • Assessing the Data Management capability of our clients
  • Developing and presenting strategies and plans for Data Management and Architecture solutions.
  • Driving, participating in business requirements gathering and functional analysis
  • Driving, supervising and reviewing technology diagnosis and vendor selection
  • Implementing Data Management and Architecture solutions.

This can be one or many of the following:

  • Data modeling and data architecture design and build
  • ETL, data migration and data conversion design and build
  • Data profiling and cleansing design and build
  • Setup processes and an organization to maintain data, and guard its quality
  • Define an implement master data repositories and integration capabilities
  • Define and implement metadata management repositories and processes
  • Project management
    Build and maintain client relationship
  • 1 to 10 years of working experience in the field of Data Management and Architecture
  • Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thought
  • Proven ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Trilingual
  • Readiness to travel in Belgium and possibility abroad

We are most interested in individuals having experience with data management from various industries (Finance, Products, Resources, Communication and High Tech, Public Services), able to understand client needs, to participate in business requirements gathering, to do functional analysis and to propose and implement relevant data management solutions to our clients.

On the technical side, we are most interested in individuals with skills in the following tools/domains:

  • Data profiling or cleansing tools: Trillium, SAS dataflux, Business Objects Data Quality, IBM Information Analyzer/QualityStage, Informatica Data Quality/Data Explorer, ...
